Fav Mac Lipsticks ATM...

I've had a small obsession with MAC Lipsticks for a few years now and over the past month these three have the ones i have been reaching for the most!

The one of top is Satin Lipstick in Pink Mouveu.
This is a really lovely pinky colour - however the main reason i like this is although it is a pink colour it is not too girly and barbie like, which makes me feel more comfortable when wearing it.
This is in the satin finish which means it doesn't have that dry effect but not creamy enough that it comes of the lips quickly. This also lasts a long time even when eating and drinking so no need to continually apply it when out about which is always a bonus!

This product is the Amplified Lipstick in ImPassioned.

This is a lovely bright pink colour with a hint of coral running through it so it doesn't apply too bright that it looks neon. This product is really creamy which has many advantages. This product goes on really smoothy and the creamy texture mean it is not drying on the lips. ImPassioned also lasts about 6-7 hours on my lips which is great.

The next one is my most recent purchase in Retro Matte Lipstick in Relentlessly Red.

I am in love with this lipstick and of the three is the one i wear most days. The main reason i love this is that even though it is a red lipstick i do feel like i can wear this on a daily basis without feeling like I've overdone my make-up. This lasts around 7-8 hours on my lips with minor touchups throughout the day. The only downside to this product is that because it so matte i do find that it can be very drying on the lips, however, to get around this i usually just put a small layer of lip balm under to stop my lips for becoming too dry and uncomfortable though out the day.

I would definitely recommend the next time you are in MAC have a look through the mountain of lipstick that you have a look at these three shades as they are all great lipsticks that would get a lot of wear out of!

Lip Blams

For a couple of years now I've been suffering with the worst case of dry/cracked lip imaginable. All day I am constantly applying lip balm as my lips without anything covering them is agony. They constantly crack and then bleed, they flake off and to be completely honest it isn't exactly very nice to be talking to someone and feel as though they are just staring at your flakey lips. So since I feel like I am an expert in the field of lip balm as I own and have tried what feel like hundreds over the past two years that I would give you my personal opinion on a few Lip Balm I have tried out recently and wether they were work the money, and if they have done anything to help my lips. 1. La Roche-Posay - Barrier Repairing Balm I initially bought this as I had heard Estee Lalonde rave about how good it was for helping her lips from being so cracked and sore so thought it would help me. I use this every night and lather it on my lips and yes I do think it helps...

Mario Badescu Make Up Remover

For many months now I have been using a waterproof mascara as I feel like it hold a better curl and last a lot longer without dropping or shortening the curl. One thing I could not stand and quite frankly dreaded was having to take the mascara off to apply a fresh coat, I used to spend ages tugging at my lashes to try and get all the product off but for some reason my lashes just never felt clean, I always felt like there was still a coat of mascara on them. I searched the shops for removers that were specific to taking off waterproof mascara and even they did not seem to work either.  I loved how to mascara looked and I did not want to have to try and find another mascara that looked as good. I was looking through Beauty Bay a few months back and found the brand Mario Badescu and I remembered watching a video of Zoe where she spoke and raved about how good the brand was. Since I had tried everything else I didn't think it would hurt to give their waterproof ...

Slimming World - Week 2

My first week back at Slimming World and I would say that it was a complete success! 99% of the time I was on plan with just one day where a Nandos may have happened!  It paid off! My first weigh in and I lost 2.5lbs! I am delighted, it just goes to show you that if you stick to it then it pays off and you will see the results that you want. If I lose 2.5lbs every week I will be one happy girl! Lets hope this week I am just as determined as I was last week! Start Weight - 12Stone 12.5lbs Current Weight - 12Stone 10lbs To Target - 1 Stone 10lbs Thanks, Stef x
