Favourite Perfume This Month

The perfume i have been reaching for a lot this month is the Jo Malone fragrance in 'Peony and Blush Suede'

I have been loving this fragrance for months now and the floral smell really lasts a while on the skin. I will spray the perfume on a scarf and then wear it a few days later and the smell will still be there - which is a testament to the staying power of this perfume.

This fragrance is a sophisticated, soft and feminine without being a girly smell. It is also soft yet sweet with a very fresh scent - many say that the red apple cuts through the sweetness.

It does come in a tad expensive at £42.00 for a 30ml bottle and £85.00 for the 100ml. I have only got the small bottle as i wasn't sure how i would take to it as the smell is a very different one from the scents i usually go for. However, once this bottle is finished i will definitely be going to buy the bigger bottle.

Slimming World - Week 2

My first week back at Slimming World and I would say that it was a complete success! 99% of the time I was on plan with just one day where a Nandos may have happened! It paid off! My first weigh in and I lost 2.5lbs! I am delighted, it just goes to show you that if you stick to it then it pays off and you will see the results that you want. If I lose 2.5lbs every week I will be one happy girl! Lets hope this week I am just as determined as I was last week! Mario Badescu Make Up Remover

For many months now I have been using a waterproof mascara as I feel like it hold a better curl and last a lot longer without dropping or shortening the curl. One thing I could not stand and quite frankly dreaded was having to take the mascara off to apply a fresh coat, I used to spend ages tugging at my lashes to try and get all the product off but for some reason my lashes just never felt clean, I always felt like there was still a coat of mascara on them. I searched the shops for removers that were specific to taking off waterproof mascara and even they did not seem to work either. 2017 Goals!

I am the worst person ever for sticking to any goals that I set myself. I either just give up days after setting them or I totally forget that I set them at all. But this year I want to be different, I want to write my Goals for 2017 down and try really hard to tick them off and actually stick to them throughout the whole year. I sat down a few days back and really thought about the things in 2016 that made me not happy and change this habit in 2017 and make my goals achievable. Goal Number 1 - To stick to Slimming World the entire year. I joined Slimming World in December of 2015 and for the majority of the year I was pretty good and stuck to it about 80% of the time - resulting in me losing 1stone3lbs in total. However, over the last 2 months I have totally fallen off the wagon and eating everything in sight - so that weight I lost is probably all back on now.
